HIOBuy Developer Platform Refund Policy

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on eligible paid HIOBuy Developer Platform subscriptions purchased through our checkout.

The guarantee is intended to reduce the risk of first evaluating the HIOBuy Developer Platform. A typical eligible path is: Subscribe → Integrate → Test → Determine HIOBuy is unsuitable → Request a refund.

Refund requests are subject to the eligibility and fair-use conditions described in this Refund Policy.

2. Scope of Subscription Refunds

The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies only to eligible HIOBuy Developer Platform subscription fees.

HIOBuy Developer Platform subscription fees cover access to software, APIs, developer tools, documentation, usage quotas, support, and related platform services.

The Developer Platform subscription does not include separate third-party transactions, services, or charges that are not part of the Developer Platform subscription.

3. Good-Faith Evaluation

The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is intended to allow new developers to evaluate the HIOBuy Developer Platform in good faith for genuine development, integration, and commerce-related use cases.

The guarantee is not intended to provide free access to large-scale API usage, bulk Marketplace product data, or other paid Developer Platform resources.

4. Refund Eligibility

A refund request is generally eligible when: (a) it is submitted within 30 days of the eligible initial subscription payment; (b) the subscription was primarily used for reasonable development, testing, integration, or evaluation; (c) API usage remained reasonably consistent with good-faith evaluation; (d) the Developer has not materially violated the HIOBuy Developer Terms of Service; and (e) the request does not appear to be part of repeated subscription/refund behavior or other abuse.

Whether usage is reasonable is assessed in context, including usage volume, usage pattern, duration, account history, and purpose. This Policy does not publish a fixed API-call threshold.

5. Fair Use

The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is subject to fair use. HIOBuy may consider the nature, volume, duration, and purpose of Developer Platform usage when reviewing refund eligibility.

Relevant factors may include API request volume, product search usage, product detail usage, image search usage, Marketplace product data retrieved, duration of API usage, account history, previous refunds, transaction activity, GMV or procurement activity where relevant to evaluating API usage, violations of the Developer Terms, and other relevant usage patterns.

Transaction activity, GMV, and procurement activity, if considered, are used only to help evaluate whether API usage is consistent with genuine commerce-related evaluation. They are not used to calculate a GMV-based subscription fee.

6. Refund Exclusions

HIOBuy may deny a refund in whole or in part, including without limitation in the following circumstances.

Substantial API resource consumption. The Developer has already engaged in substantial or disproportionate consumption of API or platform resources before requesting a refund.

Bulk data extraction. This includes bulk product data extraction, catalog harvesting, systematic Marketplace data collection, large-scale product importing primarily for data acquisition, building independent product databases, Marketplace data mirroring, or dataset creation.

Data resale or redistribution. This includes unauthorized resale, redistribution, sublicensing, or commercial exploitation of API-derived Marketplace data.

Developer Terms violations. If API access or a Developer Account is restricted, suspended, or terminated because of API abuse, unauthorized data extraction, quota circumvention, security abuse, Marketplace policy violations, or other material violations of the Developer Terms, HIOBuy may deny a refund. This applies to suspension or termination resulting from Developer violation, abuse, or prohibited conduct, not to every restricted account automatically.

Refund Policy abuse. This includes a pattern of subscribe → consume significant API resources → refund → subscribe again, or repeated use of the money-back guarantee through multiple accounts, affiliated accounts, multiple Apps, or repeated subscriptions.

7. Refund Decisions

Depending on the circumstances, HIOBuy may approve a full refund, a partial refund, or deny a refund, subject to this Refund Policy and applicable law.

As illustrations only: reasonable development and testing followed by a finding that the product is unsuitable may result in a full refund; moderate resource usage may still be eligible; substantial resource consumption may result in a partial refund or a denial; and clear data-extraction abuse may result in a denial. Refund decisions are made by HIOBuy on a case-by-case basis.

8. First Eligible Subscription

Unless otherwise stated, the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee generally applies to a Developer's first eligible paid subscription to the HIOBuy Developer Platform.

The guarantee does not automatically reset when a subscription is canceled, restarted, upgraded, downgraded, or purchased through another App or affiliated account.

HIOBuy may, at its discretion, offer a refund in special cases even if the general first-subscription limitation would otherwise apply.

9. How to Request a Refund

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email, company name, and invoice or transaction ID.

Where available, you may also manage billing through the customer billing portal linked from your account billing settings.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and are typically processed within 14 days of approval. Actual posting times may vary depending on the payment provider, card network, bank, or financial institution.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing by contacting [email protected] or through your account billing settings.

Cancellation stops further renewal charges. You may continue to use the paid subscription period already purchased, in accordance with your plan.

Canceling a subscription does not automatically result in a refund.
